SMM, Nov. 7:
As of November 6, 2025, weekly finished product inventories of secondary lead increased by 1,300 mt WoW to 5,300 mt. Production resumptions or output increases at large secondary lead smelters in east China and north China significantly boosted the operating rate of secondary lead this week, leading to a notable rise in weekly production and gradually looser supply of secondary refined lead. As smelters primarily focused on fulfilling long-term contracts during the initial phase of production resumption, currently available spot order supply is limited, and finished product inventory accumulation remains modest. With expectations for further secondary lead production increases next week, coupled with the gradual completion of previously backlogged long-term contract deliveries, secondary lead finished product inventories are expected to maintain an upward trend next week.
